Eiyeden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is primarily a turn-based RPG. You play six characters that are interchangeable to get into or out of battle and have different stat distributions with different abilities to differentiate them from other characters. For instance, Lian is a hard hitter with poor tanking abilities, while Garr is a strong tank and more offensive with no magic.

These are the pros and cons you will want to consider when forming your team, but with Hundred Heroes, you can ignore most of them, as it contains tons of characters to choose from. It’s mechanically entertaining, but it does mean that some people feel like they’re there for a fleeting purpose in the story.
