Morsels, I felt the first time I played Morsels, there was some sort of shameful thing. I did some running around and checked out all the yellowed curls of fingernail and bits of tracked-in leafmold and the rags of spiderweb still packed in withered boxes from the move a full 1½ years ago.

I didn’t beat it. Oh, and that’s not to mention I have no idea how close I’ve been getting to beating the hell out of it, or if I ever have been close. For the purposes of finishing this review before the inevitable Mortal Shell 2 is released, I’m simply going to take what I’ve seen of the game, which I believe is a sizable amount.

Morsels NSP Key Features:

• Roster Mechanics: Combat can be played in different ways, where you are allowed to switch between your captured Morsels as you choose to do so, adapting to different enemy types.
• G2A +1Dynamic Transformations: Transform into a scary animal to run through rooms, pick up items,s and upgrade your animal.
• Survival & Strategy: As explained on Reddit, if you stay in a level too long, “The Adder”, a giant black snake,ke will spawn and kill your Morsels on contact.
• The RedditRoguelite Loop: You’ll take on the roles of the mysterious characters, find yourself playing unanticipated minigames, and deal with various ailments between levels.
• Morsel XP: XP is earned, and levels are raised during a run, which boosts the power of your morsels. They mature and retire when their XP meter is full.
