It’s the return of everyone’s favorite golf game series—back to the fairway! Play a variety of unique characters and courses in online and offline AND single and multiplayer! If you’re keeping track, I have written my second golf game review of the year! I can’t think of anyone who didn’t have an experience with Hot Shots Golf on PS1. The line between simulation golf and arcade-style golf has been fuzzy since the beginning of Hot Shots.

Golf games abound, but it’s a lane all on its own for Hot Shots golf. The series has been a while since last time was seen and Bandai-Namco is changing it with its newest entry in the series. The long-titled Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots is out now and there’s a lot to do here. You might only want to play a game of ‘ball-whacking’ on a fairway, but you will need more clubs to cope with this game.

• Classic 3-Tap Swing: Easy-to-learn mechanics. Simply aim, tap to begin the gauge, tap for power, and tap at the right time to time the shot to perfection.
• Dynamic Environments: Courses affected by wind, temperature, dynamic weather, and day-to-day changes, which affect ball travel and reaction.
• Character Progression & Caddies: It includes more than 25 characters in the game, the most in the series. When you get to a character, you can get special skills such as spin shots and homing shots, and tips from a helpful caddie can be had during your round.
• Challenge Mode: Compete in a solo play tournament in 10 different regions, climb the ranks, and unlock new characters and larger challenges.
• Wacky Golf Mode: Adds some wacky elements on the fairway. Play modes feature Boom Golf (when you miss the fairway, your ball is blown out of the fairway), Colourful Mode (landing on coloured grids gives you random buffs or debuffs), Survival Golf and Scramble.
