Description:

The band Foreigner released their third album with the title “Head Games” which has two singles, including the title track. It was written by Lou Gramm and Mick Jones, and released primarily in the U.S. in November 1979 while at the same time, “Love on the Telephone” was being released elsewhere. The b-side of the song ‘Do What You Like’ has multi-layered harmony vocals similar to their previous single ‘Cold as Ice’.

Head Games is a 2012 documentary about the consequences of repeated concussions and subconcussive blows, especially those in sports. It centers on the American football and hockey, but also includes boxing, soccer, lacrosse and pro wrestling. It encompasses findings that chronic traumatic brain injury is a problem in female sports. Physiological evidence of brain injury in adolescent athletes is also discussed.
