Description:
It’s been awhile since I’ve played a game that will leave as much of an impact as Life is Strange Double Exposure does on me from 2015. It was a breath of fresh air and I found myself thinking about Arcadia Bay long after I’d picked up everything I could about the area since it was a very different kind of coming-of-age story for a rebellious, often bashful youngster that didn’t sound holier-than-thou or overbearing. Since then, it has been accompanied by a few prequels, side tales, and sequels, but up until now, not one of them for me, has been able to capture the same magic as the first five episodes.
It was great to see Max Caulfield again after 10 years of the events of Life is Strange. However, at this late stage of her twenties, Max hasn’t changed much from when we’ve seen her before: She will take too many photos, overanalyze her surroundings, and make embarrassing jokes to herself. But she has a new set of problems when she becomes an adult. As a graduate student, she no longer has to fit in and try to please everyone she encounters at Blackwell Academy but must become an authority figure.
Life is Strange Double Exposure NSP Key Feyatures:
- Dual-Timeline Mechanics: Max can swap between two worlds – one in which Safi has lived and one where she has died. What you choose to do in one timeline will actively ripple through and affect the other.
- Step into a high-stakes investigation: at the prestigious Caledon University as you uncover clues from both past and present—before the killer gets to you.
- Impactful Decision-Making: Unforgettable choices make for a different fate for Caledon – the characters, evidence, and your relationship with a local detective will be affected by your choices.
- Helpful Features: Rearrange features like Hotspot Pinging to find things, Major Choice Confirmation and Alternate Power Controls ensure a comfortable gaming experience.
- Immersive World-Building: Explore a highly detailed campus with secrets, a licensed and original soundtrack, and in-game smartphone gadgets in which text messages, social media threads, and feeds dynamically change based on the timeline.
