Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a flight simulation video game made by Asobo Studio and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is the sequel of Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and will be released on November 19, 2024, for Windows and Xbox Series X/S. It is set to be released on PlayStation 5 on December 8, 2025.This was announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 on June 11th, 2023. It contains a career mode with missions like agricultural flight and firefighting. Based on Asobo’s own engine. The latest version of the simulator is Sim Update 5, which was released on 30th April 2026[1].
