Mario Golf: Super Rush is an extremely odd game. The single player, on the one hand, is weirded out almost to the point of being unfinished. It’s over before it begins, and serves as a tutorial for the rest of the meat of the game. And that’s the other hand: the multiplayer. An exquisitely designed mish-mash of arcade golf and ludicrous fun, and where Mario Golf: Super Rush truly comes to life. The original Mario Golf (titled NES Open Tournament Golf) is the first game I really remember playing, as I graduated from crawling around and tangling in my dad’s controller wires to holding the pad myself.

Mario Golf: Super Rush NSP Key Features:

• The basic action is still there, and besides the obvious enhancements, it’s not a million miles removed from how it was 25 or so years ago: Aim your shot, press A to start your stroke, then press A again (or B if you want backspin) to “settle” your shot.
• Speed Golf Mode: Instead of taking turns, all players tee off at the same time Mario Golf Super Rush. You will need to run from one side of the course to the other to find the stamina items and hit your ball back on to the course until it is in the hole in Mario Golf Super Rush Review.
• Mario Golf Super Rush Review is a multiplayer battle game mode featuring a frantic arena battle with the first player to get three out of nine holes out wins! Chaos in the competition through hazards and items.
• Mario Golf: Super Rush Review: Mario Golf: Super Rush has 16+ characters that have their own special ability, such as Mario’s Super Mushroom, Bowser’s action freeze, and Yoshi’s jumping, that can be used for strategic purposes, and a special dash that can be activated to sprint through the course and knock out opponents.
• Golf Adventure: A single-player RPG-style golfing experience, allowing players to build and progress their own Mii. Gain experience points to increase stats (Power, Speed, Control) and climb Golfing Rank Golf Adventure.Switch to classic button controls (newly designed vertical shot gauge for reading slopes) or to realistic motion controls using the Mario Golf Super Rush Guide for the Joy-Cons.
